Here's a scary (and somewhat long) article in today's NYTimes about the state of housing in Cleveland titled All Boarded Up.

Elyria's not like this, yet, but Lorain is getting close. Real close. My suspicion is that what's happening in Cleveland will miss the wealthier ring of suburbs at least for now (Avon, Avon Lake, North Ridgeville - though they do have their share of foreclosures) then begin again just beyond that ring within the next year or so.
